Christina Kingsbury

Christina Kingsbury has been a Rebel for 11 years and is celebrating her 5th year as a Director. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Salem State College with a B.F.A. in Theatre Performance.

Christina is a founding member of Counter-Productions Theatre Company of Boston. Past shows include Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (Hamlet), Julius Caesar (Portia, Script Adaptor, Text and Language Coach), Chief Beatty (Fahrenheit 451), BAT BOY: The Musical (Shelley), A Slight Family Silence - Pinter One Acts, Action (Lupe), The Country Wife (Margery Pinchwife), and TOMMY (Sally Simpson).

Christina plays Elizabeth Cary in The Legacy of the Hanging Judge at the House of the Seven Gables annually.

In the school year, she works at Northshore Academy Lower School as an Assistant Teacher and a Drama Instructor. During the summer of 2008 she and Alex Harvey, fellow Rebel Alum, helped to create Rebel History by directing the very first traveling production ever undertaken by Rebel Shakespeare Company. Romeo and Juliet toured six towns with ten productions, and unless someone is foolish enough to argue, it was an amazing success and will NOT be the last touring production undertaken by the Company.

Christina plans to attend Graduate School, travel, act, and become a professor of Theatre.
