Kim Conzo

Kimberly Conzo started her rebel experience as a teacher/director and not an actor, but that's not to say that The Rebel Shakespeare Company didn't help shape who she is.

She joined the company in 2000 with "A Winter's Tale."  And every year since, she has been amazed by each rebel's talent, compassion, spontaneity and drive.

Kimberly has a hard time picking one specific Rebel moment - but  one that stands out would be the "Shrine to the Text" for Winter's Tale at Fort Sewall.  It was so thoughtful and insightful and she was blown away by all of the actors simply stating "It is required, you do awake your faith."  That is something she will always keep close to her heart.

Nowadays, Kimberly is living in the NYC area and working as an actress/teaching artist.  This year she was able to teach a Shakespeare Residency to inmates working towards their GED at Rikers Island.

Kimberly has a BFA in Acting from Syracuse, a MA from Emerson College in Theatre Education, and is a proud member of AEA.

Feel free to contact her at imagine_aisling@yahoo.com - she misses her rebels very much!
