Sprague Grayden

Sprague Grayden was the the original Rebel - being the first young actor to ever sign up for the summer Shakespeare programs, albeit the company was then known as Children's Theatre by the Sea.

After studying theatre with Keri at Manchester Memorial Elementary School, she went on to appear in early Rebel performances as Quince in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Jaques in As You Like It and Antonio in The Tempest. In high school, Sprague worked with Rebel Shakespeare one last time in Clamorous Voices, an ensemble Shakespeare piece presented at the Mass High School Drama Fest, where Sprague appeared as Lady Macbeth.

An alumna of Barnard College, Sprague has most recently (since the fall of 2006) been seen on the CBS television drama Jericho, where she played Heather Lisinski, opposite Skeet Ulrich.

Prior to her role on Jericho, Sprague co-starred in the FX war drama Over There, and had a recurring role in the award-winning HBO series Six Feet Under, as Anita Miller, and in the CBS series Joan of Arcadia as Judith Montgomery. She also played the substantial supporting role of Karen, opposite Dominic Purcell, in the 2002 FOX TV series John Doe.

Sprague's other television credits include guest appearances in Weeds, Law & Order, Crossing Jordan, One Tree Hill, and CSI: NY. She also appeared in the 1989 film Dad, starring Jack Lemon and Kathy Bates.

Although fate has taken her to Hollywood, Sprague's first love is still the live theatre. She can still be found performing on stage in NYC and LA whenever her schedule allows.
