Each year, Rebel Shakespeare makes a pilgrimage to London and Stratford to study Shakespeare with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA). Rebel Shakespeare Company has just been invited to perform at the Annual International Shakespeare Birthday Celebrations in Stratford-Upon-Avon in England this April!

This year, twenty-one local young actors will be in attendance. These actors, whom you see perform on our Winter Island stage each summer, will be performing monologues and sonnets for an international crowd of Shakespeare scholars, actors, dignitaries and such during Shakespeare's 444th birthday celebration.

The young actors attending this year's trip are: From Salem:Lauren Goff, Maeve Harrington, Adelaide Majeski, Marisa Kent, Ryan Buchanan and Henry Lutts. From Marblehead: Grace & Hannah Gartel, Zoe Golub-Sass, Madeline Goldberg, Bronte Price, Emma MacLean, Tory Hermann, Cabot Dow, and Frazier Jones. From Beverly: Sarah Munson. From Groveland: Jessica Geiger. From Essex: Emma Behnke. From Swampscott: Luke Palmer. From Topsfield: Ross Magnant. And from Brookline: Jesse Garlick.

Please join me in congratulating this group of students. And let us know if you will be in the Stratford area on April 26th!
